Re: Uploading.. |
I did that when I started. heres the problem I have. Do you ul the show by ftp or some other way? and if so for some reason it wont let me do it. it keeps telling my that i cant get in. The rest of it seems pretty straight foward. I could be missing somehting.

Re: Uploading.. |
Yes, uploading is done via FTP. Make sure you aren't copying/pasting your email address in as the username - usually that will put a space at the end that will make the login fail.

Re: Uploading.. |
The instructions I linked above will tell you how.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It's a little different than HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) which is what is used to display webpages on a browser.
If you use a windows system,
SmartFTP is a recommended FTP client. Once you download and install that, use the instructions I linked above to set up an upload.
By the way, make sure anything you upload is in SHN or FLAC format - those are the only formats that are accepted for upload in the Live Music section.

This is the furthest I have been able to connect. I would love to upload to the site but seems like its a no go.

Re: Uploading.. |
Make sure there is no space at the end of your email address in the username field. Make sure the password is identical to the one you use to log in to the website (case sensitive). Make sure you have clicked the link for "Arrange An Upload" above and to the left on the LMA homepage - in the old days, that was how the upload server knew to create a login and home folder for you.
Outside of that, I'm not sure what else to advise.

Re: Uploading.. |
Thanx for the help. I have been able to upload to archive I think. I say that because the nxt step is to import the show and there are no shows there. It shows the bands name but no concerts and I have uploaded 2 whole shows. Help?
